A clear, predictable journey
Your assessment pathway
Five clear steps from first contact to your report. Select a step to see what to expect.
Step 1: Self-screener and reflection
Try the ADHD (ASRS) or autism (AQ-10) screener below, then write down 3–5 real-life examples of everyday experiences, such as organisation, focus, sensory experiences or social energy. Written notes take the pressure off your memory later on.
Step 2: Free 15-minute initial call
A no-obligation phone, video or WhatsApp call to talk about what's brought you here and which assessment fits best. You can bring someone with you for support. If an assessment isn't the right fit, we'll say so and point you to other options.
Step 3: Online pre-assessment forms
Complete the forms at your own pace – you can save and come back. For autism assessments, the ADI-R needs someone who knew you well as a young child (usually a parent). For ADHD, input from someone who knew you as a child is helpful but not essential.
Step 4: Clinical assessment
Structured sessions with your assessor – the DIVA-5 for ADHD, and the ADI-R and ADOS-2 for autism. Sessions can be online, or in person in Whitstable where appropriate. Take sensory or comfort breaks whenever you need.
Step 5: Partner review, diagnosis and feedback
Our CQC-registered clinical partner reviews your full assessment, meets you for a diagnostic consultation and makes the formal diagnostic decision. You'll receive our assessment report, your partner's diagnostic report and a feedback session that explains the outcome in plain language. Your reports can be shared with your GP, employer or place of study, and can support requests for reasonable adjustments or Access to Work (the DWP decides eligibility and funding). We don't prescribe or manage medication.
